Abhijeet Dipke Lands in Delhi, Calls for Jantar Mantar Protest Demanding Resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan

Upon arrival at the airport, where security presence was notably strong, Dipke urged protesters to carry a book and the Indian national flag as symbols during the planned demonstration. He called for a coordinated protest movement at Jantar Mantar, positioning it as a platform for raising concerns regarding the integrity of the examination system.

The demand for resignation is linked to allegations of widespread exam paper leaks. Citing an investigation reported by the Indian newspaper The Indian Express, CJP spokesperson Vijeta Dahiya stated that out of 45 major examination paper leak cases recorded over the past two decades, only two resulted in convictions. He further questioned the effectiveness of administrative action in such cases, noting that one of the convicted individuals was merely transferred, arguing that such a measure does not constitute meaningful punishment.

Speaking to Deutsche Welle (DW), Dipke emphasized the broader significance of the movement, stating that young people across the world are facing widespread challenges. He added that the initiative should serve as an example of how peaceful protest can be used as a tool for driving change on a global scale.

The developments mark a renewed escalation in public agitation over examination transparency, with the CJP leadership seeking to transform the issue into a larger civic movement centered at one of Delhi’s most prominent protest sites.
